The Coordinator of the Inspectorate for Inspection Affairs, Labor Inspector for Occupational Health and Safety, Zlatko Popović, conducted an inspection on November 9, 2021, due to irregularities identified during a previous inspection he carried out on January 26, 2021.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Law on Inspection Oversight, inspections are carried out without prior notice. The inspection report from January 26, 2021, contained a total of 25 points, of which four noted irregularities.

In the report submitted following the November 9, 2021, inspection, it was confirmed that all irregularities listed in the January 26, 2021, report had been addressed. The first resolved irregularity concerned the employer possessing expert findings and reports from INSTITUT SIGURNOST DOO Podgorica regarding the inspections and testing of electrical and lightning protection installations used by employees, with all prescribed protective measures ensured in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The second issue was resolved by assigning a dedicated occupational health and safety professional to the office of the Executive Director, making this person directly responsible to the Executive Director.
In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the third issue was addressed by designating a qualified occupational health and safety professional through an annex to Employment Contract No. 60/22, dated February 10, 2021, in accordance with the organization, nature, and scope of work processes, number of employees, number of shifts, and location-separated units.
The fourth issue was resolved by taking the necessary measures and assigning 45 employees for first aid, fire protection, and evacuation, depending on the type of workplace, activities, number of employees, and presence of other persons, in accordance with the law and the Regulation on Equipment and Procedures for Providing First Aid.
